## Web, iPhone and Android

## Improvements

- Editing a score on a game's box score uses your sport's periods, scoring words and assist rules, and only asks for a time when the sport keeps one.
- Empty fields in Profile and your team settings say "Not set" in a lighter shade instead of showing example values.

## Fixes

- RSVP Notifications lists spares under Spares instead of Roster, including on reminders sent earlier.

## Web

Anyone can now browse Finder on the web without a BenchApp account, so games your team posts can reach players who haven't signed up yet. Editing scores also follows your sport's rules more closely.

## Browse Finder Without an Account

Finder on the web no longer asks visitors to log in first. It shows a list of games teams have posted next to a map, starting near the visitor's city, and Use my location narrows it to where they are. Players show by first name and last initial, and the map shows how many players are around an area, never where a player is.

Choosing a game, a player or a player count asks the visitor to create a free account or log in. After they sign up or log in, they go straight back to Finder, and to the game they picked if they chose one. Teams that post a game in Finder can now be found by people who aren't on BenchApp yet.

## Improvements

- On the web, Finder's map shows each game as a label with its sport and team name, player counts as small numbered circles, and the zoom buttons in the bottom corner, clear of the back button.

## Fixes

- In the list of who reacted to a message, everyone shows clearly, not just you.

## App update for iPhone

Managers get a Communications page that shows every RSVP notification sent to the team, next to Broadcasts, Bulletins and Polls. Players can add emergency contacts and medical notes for their managers to see, and baseball and softball teams can now design baseball jerseys.

## Communications and RSVP Notification History

Communications replaces Team Communications in the team menu. It links to RSVP Notifications, Broadcasts, Bulletins and Polls, shows how many of each have been sent, and has a Recent list of the latest messages of every kind. The New menu starts a broadcast, bulletin or poll.

RSVP Notifications groups sends by day and marks each one Reminder, for one a manager sent, or Automation, with filters for All, Reminders and Automations. Opening a send shows the event, who sent it, when it went out, how it was sent and everyone who got it, split into Roster and Spares. If the event was deleted later, the send says so.

## Emergency Contacts and Medical Notes

Each player can add up to two emergency contacts, with a name, relationship and phone number, plus notes on allergies or medical conditions. Players add them under Contact in Profile, and managers can add them for any player on Edit Player. They show on the player's profile, and teammates never see them. This is free for every team.

On a game or practice, managers have an Emergency Contacts button that lists everyone going and their emergency contacts. Tap a phone number to call it.

## Baseball Jerseys

The Jersey Builder picks the jersey from your team's sport. Baseball and softball teams get a short-sleeved baseball shirt with its own styles, like collar and sleeve piping, sleeve stripes, pinstripes and contrast sleeves. A number can go on the front under the crest.

Presets cover all 30 MLB clubs in home and away versions, plus vintage throwbacks and a few custom starting designs. New baseball designs open on the coloured away jersey first.

## Improvements

- Managers can apply the team's maximum players to all upcoming events from Event Settings, and saving a new maximum asks whether upcoming events should change too.
- Importing players to the Roster can now draw from every season you've managed, including past and archived ones.
- On phones, the Roster can be sorted again by name, number or any stat from its headings.
- Switching from In or the waitlist to Out always asks you to confirm first.
- Finder shows players by first name and last initial, without how far away they are.
- Finder uses the right position names for more sports.
- Leagues are told why a team that still has games can't be removed.

## Fixes

- The list of who reacted to a message scrolls all the way to the bottom on iPhone, and everyone in it shows clearly.
- Picking someone from your phone's contacts keeps the spare or player form you were filling in open.
- Show All in a chat's details opens the full list of participants.
- Messaging a player from their profile and going back returns you to where you were, like the Roster.
- Quick Score shows up on game cards for everyone allowed to keep score, and when a league keeps score itself, saving explains why it can't go through.
- Managers of league-managed teams can edit Paid and Drank on Drinks again.
- Screen and sheet headers, including carpool details and the Jersey Builder, stay clear of the status bar.
- Editing a game's time or length on iPhone keeps the time you picked.
- Imported calendars that set their own timezone show the right game times, including around daylight saving changes.
- Opening an event that was deleted says so instead of loading forever.
